The other half of my 2nd order from Hush went MUCH better than the first
Technically, this bud was rated lower than the Mendo but this UK Cheese was leagues better than the previous product. I’ll explain more below.
Welcome to the Budstuff!
Once again, the ounce was packaged in 2 x 14-gram bags, buds were mixed sizes ranging from small to big buds but a good mix of each favoring the larger buds which was a relief after the last bag we reviewed from Hush.
The nose was wonderful and kept its pungent aroma even after going through the grinder, not just in the bag. Moisture was on point, spongy, and not crumbling in your hands while remaining dense and frosty.
It had a very clean and even burn throughout the whole bag. White ash with a smooth smoke and taste on the inhale and exhale and the effects were long-lasting. I’d read that this cultivar was good for pain relief, and this happened to come at a time when I’m experiencing a lot of back pain and I’m really not sure I’d have made it through the days without this being in my daily roll while it was available.
I thought it was the first time I had UK Cheese as a cultivar but upon further research, it looks like Tweed is selling it on the licensed market as “Balmoral” which I have tried in the past. I don’t recall it hitting, or feeling like this bud at all, but well anything grown by Tweed is not going to compare to more competent growers.
In closing, I’d highly recommend UK Cheese as a daily driver, especially if you experience chronic pain as I do, if you can pick it up at Hush I think you’d really like it, or anywhere you can find it for that matter, the beauty of the unlicensed market. It may be the last time I mention ratings, but considering the previous review, I’d have been more likely to rate the Cheese AAA over the Mendo.
