Source: Legacy (Shamrock) Price: $119 / Oz
So here’s something that’s not Pink Kush for once!
I’m really loving the consistency of quality with Shamrock at this point with free shipping and also at a lower price than most MOMS I’m really having trouble branching out since their pricing and offerings are always on point, not to mention their service is and has always been fantastic.
Shipping is always fast as well, usually, I get my tracking info and shipping details the same day I send payment if I meet the daily cut-off time. This week was unbelievably fast and reached the east coast in maybe 2-3 days (usually about 5 days).
$119 / Oz is a little more than I pay typically, but they really have options to cater to all budgets.
Are you ready for my favorite part of the Review? It’s time to get into some
BUD STUFF
So when I first got the bag, admittedly it looked to be quite a bit under, and waited a bit before popping it open since I didn’t have access to scales, but I cracked the bag and it weighed up about half a gram over the oz so no complaints here.
All the buds were around this size, so not huge but they were evidently very dense and when they grind up, it grinds up into a lot more than the size of the bud would have you believe. It’s really making the case for eyeballing your weed being a bad idea and you should (not) be like me, and actually invest in a proper set of scales to check it out.
Each bud was pretty uniform, with pale greens, some dark tones, and lots of amber goodness.
The smell was super strong first upon opening the bag and was even more pungent once grinding.
It gave a sweet, and earthy taste – really showing out the girl scout cross for this batch, but my counterpart Kitt definitely picked up on the myrcene hiding in the back, likely what’s giving me that earthy taste – which is really something I love in a cultivar for taste.
These buds were not lacking for any frost if that’s what you are into, for judging the appeal and “Wow” factor of the buds, moisture content was also on point, and with the dense buds, they were staying formed, and just giving the right level if squishy and spongy.
Dat ash burned white, although – I’ll be honest and say I’ve been using Zig Zag Blues on this bag and I’m fairly certain they’d burn white ash if you smoked shit in them. Side Review? Zig Zag Blues = Bad Times.
